Tonight on the Dealmaker Zone, I talk to #realestate icon and legend Stephen Siegel, Chairman, Global Brokerage at CBRE.
We spent the day in his office and got a glimpse of what it takes to be one of the most successful real estate dealmakers in NYC. Stephen talked about his background growing up in the Bronx, going to high school at age 12, getting his first job at 15 and by 37, being the CEO of Cushman & Wakefield. We also talked about what drives him, his collection of elephants(decorations that is), his love of the NY Jets and much more. My most memorable exchange with Stephen when was he asked me if I had kids and whether I had their pictures in my office. He told me it's important to have photos of your kids in your office and throughout our conversation I could tell he is very proud of his four kids and that family is important to him.
I really recommend you all tune in tonight and get your week started the right way.
